Yep, I'm back again. But this is important I swear! Ok so we've all heard about Tiger Woods and how he got into a little bit of trouble by sleeping around and what not. Ever since then Tiger Woods has been suspended of some sponsors, has not been playing golf, has been mocked on Southpark, need I say more? Ok so recently he has been back into the game of golf; in fact he will be playing at the Masters the next couple weeks. But because of the Masters tournament of gold, Nike decides to show a golf related commercial...Good marketing campaign right? See here's where their wrong, they decided to have a commercial, an old commercial from last year of Tiger Woods, and his father speaking to him "What were you thinking, have you learned from your mistakes" etc. Now what I don't get is, how does this advertise a Nike Product? Is it advertising, "Just do it like Tiger did"? I don't know, because the only message I get here is, Tiger's deceased father, looking down on him and asking for him to realise that he has done wrong, and is he willing to look back at his mistakes and work from them and fix things. The Script goes like this: "Tiger, I am more prone to be inquisitive to promote discussion. I want to find out what your thinking was." "I want to find out what your feelings are," Earl continues, from the grave The face of Tiger is a death stare, and really what I expected was at the end, for comic relief is for the check to come out, with big writing "Just do it" I posted the commercial for those of you that haven't seen it can.
"And did you learn anything?" Earl Woods asks.
